No, but cross your fingers and it might be at an incredibly inflated price. Happy New Year!

I won't buy anything from the Matrix/Slitherine site. I find the site completely illogical and difficult to navigate. If you lose the game on your harddrive, and don't have the serial number (it was on the HD too), you are out of luck. Making users jump through hoops to get another copy of something they purchased makes for one painful experience. Not one I would ever do again.

You can register your serials on the site allowing you to download most games again as needed.

Cheers

Why do I have to register the serial numbers if I buy the game from the site? They require your username/password to buy the game! The site is where the password is coming from. The only reason to require registration is in the hope that you don't and get screwed into buying the game again.

I would assume because you aren't always buying the game for yourself. The process isn't yet as slick as we would like, but it is not especially tough to register the product. Or you can just keep a copy of your purchase email and it has all necessary details.

I sympathize with you but I learned LONG AGO to buy a external HD (very cheap nowadays) and keep all my install files and patches there as well as a text file with all my serial numbers. It's not hard to do nowadays. It was difficult when these games were new.

If you are logged in your account the game is registered in your account automatically after you have placed the order.

I love Steam but I dont understand the missing coordination between other selling sites. On Steam there is no offer, while on GOG it was 70% (23€ instead of 74€) and on the main website with the d-day code (only) 30% off. For the future and other games, it would be great if the price/offer was the same in all stores.

War in the Pacific was my first purchase. Love it. Just grabbed East and West in the Sale. I don't mind buying from matrixgames but the sale wasn't there.

I want WITP:AE on Steam but they have to figure how to make the game run on hi res monitors without the complicated system of command line switches and such to get it to run now

I have several Matrix games that I purchased through Steam - WiTW/E, TOAW, Decisive Campaigns etc. None of these games offer the option of viewing the CD key when right-clicking the game name - they don't appear on my receipts either. Linking my Steam account with my Matrix account appears to do precisely nothing. Using the 'RegisterYourGame' URL that came with WiTW generates a 404 error. If you can provide more information about how I register my games with Matrix I would be very grateful.

On matrixgames.com you click on My Page at the top and sign up. Once you've signed up and log in, there's an option to enter serials for your games. It looks like once you've done that you can download the latest installer, updates, the public beta if there is one, the manual, and other items that may be available.
