Mine too. STILL play the old version. One of the best games ever.
SInce I spent the money and this is the best way to experience the oeprational level command of these theaters I shall perservere!
Any tips beyond RTFM and watch some let's plays?
Even if it's just random stuff. I'm not as interested in strategy as I am just figuring out how it all works.
I'd really recommend videos similar to the ones that Decisive Campaigns Barbarossa has, or an interactive tutorial. That would really help with us newcomers.
I really enjoy the simplicity of the current WITE air system. I know there are probably good reasons to change the air system, but adding substantial turn wait times and insane detail ruins the immersion for me.
I certainly won't be buying WITE 2 if this is direction that the developers decide to take.
I just want a game set in the Pacific that doesn't require a bunch of arcane rituals to function properly
