its concerning that the game asks me to wait for servers response when playing alone / single player

Single player is always online, server dependant, as it uses servers for lootboxes etc.

Once devs pull the plug, bam, game not available / stolen, like Darkspore, Battleborn and many others.

Refunded cause of this. Fortified, orcs must die, sanctum etc, can be played now and in 5 years, as they dont require servers. Unlike this one

The gameplay is good, but the progression being tied to lootboxes is bad. 2h played, no new turret or gun unlocked, only 3 knife cosmetics XD
