'Greedy'?

Okay so to get 'Greedy', I placed a mage on Blackstaff, a cleric on the Plinth, thieves on the Grinning Lion Tavern, fighters on the Field of Glory, Gold on Aurora's and Corruption on one of the corruption spaces (all in one game).

The achievement didn't kick in, so what am I missing?

Yeah, few of them won't go off properly . I have the same problem with "tempting isn't it" achievement.

achievements are an afterthought. Only epeeners really want them or need them. I have better things to do with my game time than worry about achievements not firing. ;)

I have had some trouble with a couple going off. The "well rounded" didnt trigger the first time (1 of each quest type in a game) because I completed 1 quest by going on the bought building that lets you draw and complete a quest.

I would advise to keep trying in different ways to get the acheivement. I wonder if it refers to picking up placed resources rather than just normal spaces (?).

Thanks, I'll try that. I find the 'achievements' add spice ot the single-player game.

Don't be jealous just because I can play a game "without" achievements. I don't need a computer program to hold my hand through it like some (like you) do. lol

Hey Fletch, you forgot the golden rule about when you should feed trolls.

As for the cheevos not popping, I had the same problem for a while. I play this game on my Android tablet, so, for me personally, I found powering it off, turning it on again and then simply retrying for the achivement got me most of them. It does suck that we have to do that at all, but the game's fun enough that I didn't mind it overmuch. Hope that helps.

I think they have to be on buildings THAT YOU OWN...

I got this achievement by placing dudes on the basic buildings (i.e. Blackstaff Tower etc.) and gold on the Cliffwatch Inn spot that gives gold as well, if I recall correctly.

Achievements are quite a mess honestly. I don't remember how i got this one but it triggered from the first time. Unlike some others. Also I think that those should be on the board at the same time. So if the bot picks your money or skull it won't work.

Necroing this thread just to confirm that the achievements don't fire as they should. I just got the "Moral high ground" for not gaining any corruption - in a game when I got quite a lot of corruption (after playing several games without gaining any corruption at all).

acchievements arnt the whole game - they just something nice to get andadd a little sidegame play to the game

that said getting achievements is fun ( even the easy ones )

Yeah I don't even look at the achievements. I don't need an epeen boost to get enjoyment out of the game. Of course I came from the age where you DIDN'T get a trophy for coming in last lol

myself im more inyterested in being able to pad out an online game with friends with ai charachters - the only response ive seen to this happening so far is to create false accounts which is a bit offputting and that was an old post
