Well, yes and no. People come and go online if they can't get a game immediately or everyone makes their own game and no games get started cause everyone is sitting in their created game waiting on others to join so they all end up sitting in their gameroom waiting on a game that may never come.

The implementation of multiplayer is bad imho; though the game is great when you can get one. It's not the game it's just multiplayer gaming in general. Had they made it like MPlayer or HeatNet where you just make a que of players and throw the first 3 to 5 in a room depending on how many player game they are looking for there would be more multiplayer games started and going on.

The AI is good enough on HARD (if you play with 4 or 5) to give you a good game but, there's just something about beating a human opponent in the dirt that is more fun. :) AI's don''t care if they lose; humans rage quit and cry and whine how they got bad quest cards etc. lol

Game is DOA, its a shame. I love the board game. im not getting rid of it becasue you can play P&P... but you can't get games online nobody is playing. :-/ Its great though pitty.

Rest assured it's definitely not dead or anything. There's asynchronous play. And crossplay.

Unless you're very picky, finding games shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I don't do asynchronous sessions. And I haven't tried the expansions yet. But it's still alright. :AWESOME:

It's playable. You can find a session, you can join, start and complete it. Most likely not in one go because opponents go offline all the time (asynchronous play and lenghty timers allow to do that) but eventually, in a few days, you will finish your session. Probably with a few bots as well. They replace those players who decided to ignore the game or just forget to check it in time. Latter happened to me once already because I've missed the notification on my phone and the session was with the 45 minutes timer.

Yesterday I completed my first multiplayer session that I started few days ago (with 24 hours timer). After two (out of four) players have left it was much faster for two of us who remained to complete it. And it was fun because at the end we both were online and ended last rounds in about 15-20 minutes.

All in all, I think that the asynchronous play with no other options isn't good for the PC version of the game but this is just my personal opinion. It's definitely working, it's better than nothing, and there are enough people to play with. It just hard to get a session that won't be interrupted, and complete it without bots.

Definitely not. Far from being perfect in an online department but not dead. Cross-play with the mobile platforms helps a lot in that regard, but they need asynchronous play while for PC this mode is too slow.

Well, the bots you get in multiplayer when a player forfeits are "easy" bots; so imho it's better to just play with 5 HARD bots in solo single player games. The fun and challenge is much better there.

i tried the game with bots and it wasn't that bad.. still kinda hard to see all of their hands and stuff , but overall i enjoyed the game.

Currently i am playing about 9 sessions paralell with long game timers and thats pretty fun actually. So, yes, there is a online community, but since community management is pretty clunky right now, they will have to make some adjustments to really get the game rolling :)

As St0ne said above, it needs work and the developers might not get around to making it better, but there's always the Discord community for this game here: https://discord.gg/VRCUSKH
