Your first post is no bug. It is the "en passant"-rule.
I do not know the english term for "en passant". But its desciption is as follows.
"In chess, capturing while passing is defined as the ability to move with a pawn to capture an opposing pawn even if the pawn moves from the starting position by a double step beyond the capturing area of your own pawn."
"When a pawn reaches the opponent's back row, it must be replaced immediately by the desired piece. Since the selection is not limited to pieces that have already been captured, a player can, for example, come into possession of two or more queens."
