Mod out "Ball lost"?

Just started playing this game, and I like it even though it's really, really hard. So I keep hearing "Ball lost!" over and over and OVER again...

I don't need to keep hearing it.

I was hoping I could just go into the game files, find the .ogg or whatever that was specific to that sound and edit it, but that is not how this game is laid out! Anyone have any ideas?
