With bad shots, the diagram shows the vlub head almost jump inside which is obviously causing the unpredicatble shots.
Moving one of my sensors to point directly at the area at the bottom of the swing makes little difference. Maybe this is due to the speed generated at this point rather than the loss of tracking.
I am now at a point where I have played the game for over 3 hours and yet 2 hours or more of this time is trying to figure out how to dwing reliably.
Starting to lose interest and feel annoyed that I can no longer request a refund from steam.
Our game is played with HTC Vive and Oculus, but the fast controller problem has only occurred in Oculus.
So our dev team e-mailed to The Oculus Developer Support Team, and they said the problem has been determined to be a systemic issue that is affecting many different developers. It is challenging and risky to improve this behavior, so we couldn't find any other solution. Maybe, someday Oculus will solve this problem, so we're waiting for it.
Right now, if you slow down your swing speed, this problem doesn't appear.
Unfortunately, if I slow down the swing to 'medium', the ball does not travel anywhere as near as far it should. This makes the game even more difficult.
I also own The Golf Club VR (although I do prefer your game) but I dont have anywhere near the same issues in that game and swing just as fast - if not faster.
Every comment is always forwarded to our dev team even though it had already forwarded before. However, Oculus' fast controller issue had remained the unsolved problem. Because we couldn't find a way to solve perfectly.
Fortunately, this time, I've got an answer that there could be a way to solve it. (This is a sort of trick, maybe similar to the way The Golf Club VR used.)
Our dev team has made this task a top priority and will fix it until the next update if possible.
