Fat Orangutan hidden in game files

Since this game was a favorite of mine I decided to dig through the game files just to see what I could find (with AssetStudioGUI). While looking through all of the different files I came across an oddly named image resource of a fat monkey, for some reason with the name "fat ape". It is extremely ridiculous to find such a picture in this game, but nevertheless
it's really funny that the developers left this silly image in the game's files.

Why was this even in the game resources? For fun, I guess.

a lot of the stuff within the game files are quite questionable, some are not in good taste
