How do you unlock the sherlock mode?

Sherlock Mode is a bonus mode which is useful to gain a lot of frequency in short time, to get you will need a full combo first. You can see in the lower right corner after every 4 correct guesses in a short amount of time you will get a +.
+++ is a full combo.

Now comes the tricky part, you'll notice that if you answer fast enough now more +s will appear on the screen, these show that you answer fast enough to get your combo up to Sherlock Mode.
4 more correct guesses with less than 0,6 seconds inbetween unlock Sherlock Mode.
