At the moment all games in question are still for sale; they've given us a grace period to resolve the issue.
Sucks steam are treating homosexuality the same as pedophila.
OP, if they do get treated differently maybe it's because they are different, one is creepy and depicting what is meant to appear as underage girls and the other is a tasteful dating sim full of consent and respect.
Steam JUST sent us an email saying they may be rereviewing this new policy. They MAY send us a followup email if they DO decide anything needs to be changed, but for the time being, I think we're good.
I believe other targeted devs got sent the same email as well.
I'll update y'all if anything changes.
I'm not 100% positive on the answer to this, but Steam policy in general is to allow delisted games to still be downloaded and played by those who've already purchased them. If a game were removed for being in violation of Steam's guidelines, I don't know if that still applies. Nevertheless, were that to happen to COOT, we'd bring the game into compliance with the guidelines and so it shouldn't be an issue.
We don't want censorship.
We don't want companies telling us what kind of content is "bad" for us.
We want adult games. We believe in Freedom of Speech.
Never accept censorship!
