Simply switch the data scanner for another eshell, or kill the Raptor ships with a single sliver gun once its shields are down. The latter only works if you keep pounding the target Raptor ship with 2 eshells while bombarding it with your single sliver gun.
Like i said before..... follow the target that the chrome attacks, this mission teaches you to focus fire with an ally.
it affects the whole campaign. So you have to start again. And than it can strike again at any given time.
Thanks to the long tutorial, the game basically becomes unplayable.
It is NOT a case of missing skill.
Bug with Chrome not attacking will not be solved with restarting the mission and seem too be triggered if Chrome is ever destroyed and you reloading after that. You need to replay the previous mission or load a save just before entering a wormhole. So there's no need to restart the whole campaign.
Writing this, since in the past I restarted the campaign each time I encountered this bug, slogging through slow af first missions, but seems like nowadays I'm smarter.
"Special ability" meaning a bug that can be exploited...
Erm... no. The Angelwing is the only ship you can do this with. Its part of the ship's abilities.
