Can't do local multiplayer

I plug in my Xbox360 remote to the pc to play with my brother. It comes up as player one. We cannot play together at all! Fix this or i am going to leave a horrible review and return the game!!! >:(

Can't play Splitscreen :(

On normal Mode I see no way for splitscreen and in versus mode my controller can't join. You may have the same problem.

Hey Guys!

I have decided to merge these threads together as you are all experiencing the same issue.

In order to play split-screen locally where Player 1 is on Mouse/Keyboard and Player 2 is on a controller, you need to do the following:

1. Launch the game and head to the 'Help & Options' screen
   
2. Make sure you are on the 'Controls' tab
   
3. Where it says 'Mouse, Keyboard & Controller', click the right arrow next to it and set it to 'Mouse & Keyboard'
   
4. Hit 'Apply'
   
5. When you enter a game, press a button on the controller to activate it as Player 2
   
   By default, the game is setup so you can switch between Mouse/Keyboard and Controller for Player 1 on the go without needing to change control settings.
   
   Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused and enjoy playing split-screen!

This does not work at all! The controller ALWAYS goes to player one!!!! >:( I only bought this game to play with my brother.

you just need to let your brother click on A with his controller when selecting character at the beginning of a game. It'll split screen. You will both be able to play with a controller then but you'll need better ds3 to make the controller player 2. Sad fact: there is no way yet to save a game with two players or to join a game already started when playing local :(
