As Lupafel has already mentioned, set the controls from 'Mouse, Keyboard & Controller' to 'Mouse & Keyboard' on the 'Help & Options' screen and you will be able to use your controller as input for Player 2
Let us know how it goes! Thanks!

Glad to see you are enjoying split-screen with your brother and have successfully escaped Center Perks :)
Good luck with your future escapes!

i am trying this with a switch because my cousin is comeing over and i want to play this with him but how do i do this wit ha switch controller?
so, i was trying to play the escapist 2 with 2 of my friends on split screen but now we have a problem. I already changed in the options from mouse, keyboard and controller to keyboard and mouse and with the first two player everything is fine, but when i join with the 2nd controller (the third player) it will eventually take over the first player.
Basically the keyboard work just fine with the 1st player but if the 2nd controller moves something it will effect also the first player
Sorry, i made copy and paste from one of my other discussion, do u have any suggestion?
