Escapists 2 still broken on Switch!
I mentioned this before, but nothing has been done. Escapists 2 keeps crashing whenever I try to make a new save on any prison, and it makes the game unplayable. I've already tried deleting my save data once, but it started again. Even my friends game has started doing it! We used to play it multiplayer all the time, but now we hardly do. Also, the dlc would be nice! Jk but the issue is still a big problem. Thanks, Michael

They haven't update the Nintendo Switch version which is still in 1.0. No matter if you manage to fix it, your game will start to get that glitch again. So just wait until they update the game, and hopefully is a fix to this bug.

Hello,

We are working on an update at this moment. As soon as we have any information we will make an announcement.

We are investigating this issue and there is a workaround in deleting your save data and creating less saves if you can.

Please answer the questions below so we can investigate this issue for you.

Can you tell us what prison you are playing the game on?
Have you previously been playing a multiplayer game?
How many save files have you created?
Has this issue happened since you first started playing the game?
Are you on the latest version of the Switch Firmware.
Is the game stored on an SD Card or the Switches internal memory?
What happens after you crash? Are you booted to the Game Frontend or Nintendo Home Screen?

Can you please try deleting your save data: https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Support/Nintendo-Switch/Storage/Data-Management/Managing-save-data-screenshots/Managing-save-data-screenshots-1200030.html

Can you also clear your Nintendo Switch Cache: http://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/27449/~/how-to-manage-%2F-delete-game-save-data

Please get back to us as soon as you can.

Thanks,

Thanks for replying - firstly, I was playing on KAPOW camp the first time it happened, and then after deleting my save data the first time it happened on hmp offshore. I had been playing single player and multiplayer before it both times. I have two saves on hmp offshore. The issue started around 2 months in with KAPOW camp, then 2 weeks after that again. Yep. It's stored on the internal memory, and after crashing it boots me to the switch home screen. I've tried both but to no avail. Hope to hear about the update soon.

Adding to my other comment, I had a s minimal saves as possible to do most of the escapes on the prisons i.e. 3 on center perks, 2 on rattlesnake etc.

Thank you.

This sounds like the same issue we are investigating currently. Please try and use one save per prison. You can always overwrite a save to perform another escape.

Once we have a solution we will update you as soon as possible.
