Blacksmith Job, H.M.P Offshore
I've just encountered an odd bug. I've got the blacksmithing job on H.M.P. Offshore.
So does Des, apparently.
His work counts against my quota, so I had to do nothing to complete my job.

Is ... is Des my prison [DOG] now? :s

Update: He didn't show up for the second shift. Guess he got fired or something?

Hey Sky Wizard!

This certainly seems odd, have you encountered this glitch since? We have also implemented a fix to the visibility of equipment for this job too which may resolve this issue

Nope, it only happened the once. Which is a shame because I think I could get used to others doing my chores for me. ;)

Hey Sky Wizard!

Thanks for the update! Was the inmate 'Des' the one who originally had the blacksmith job prior? Did you ever quit the job and re-apply for it at anytime? Also, did you happen to quit the game at all in between acquiring the job and going to the first shift?

I honestly don't recall if he was, as there were 2 inmates to hold the job prior to me getting it. I got the first one fired on day one and the second on day two. I took the job after the second shift of day two, and the Des showed up for work on the first shift of day three. (All done in one sitting, no logging off)

I escaped before the first shift of day four, but upon reloading the save no inmate turned up to work the following two days.

Thanks for the update including the steps to reproduce the issue. Unfortunately, we have not had any luck reproducing this internally at all having tried multiple times and following your exact steps too.
