the hardest prison in the escapists 2(singleplayer)
as a person who has escaped every prison(except the christmass and dlc ones) on all single player escapes, i can safley say i have experience on the matter. first of all the i will not be including the transport prisons but its safe to say airforce con is the hardest on that list. now onto the real topic, center perks is the easiest by far and i escaped it in 2 mins. rattlesnake springs is a heavy jump from that and already has fully external cells with bars making hard to obtain keys, additionally most of the prison is behind multiple red doors or outside if not both making it really hard to get keys on single player trust me, although i havent played kapow camp in a while ik it has external cells with cameras in them as well as an electrified fence. i dnt really know which is harder but doesent matter becuz the real competition starts after that. although hmp offshore isnt a walk in the park because it most certainly needs a cyan or red key to escape and a lot of the prison is exterior or with cameras, the cells are inside making the key part not that bad. now onto the hard ones, uss anomoly is by far the easiest hard prison and even easier than hmp offshore maybe even easier than that. i escaped in 11 minutes and for those who havent already figured it out this post is for nonblind escapes, even the perimiter escape was easy on anomoly as gaurds never patrol the escape area giving u days to escape regardless of night or day. for tundra and area 17 are easily the hardest both having insanly hard perimiter breakouts and almost impossibel to do the single player exclusive blindly. although fort tundra has a super easy singleplayer only escape which doesent need a key or anything like that if ur smart, area 17 has a much harder one needing a cyan and red key unless u do some crazy chipping which im not sure if it would work and also needs a fake id. area 17 singleplayer only is much harder but fort tundra requires the escape to take mostly outsid while doing very fast breaking but it still brings up the risk of being seen by a spotlight. although area 17 needs a lot of running outside you can minimise it by gong to the south east most surface gaurd station. fort tundra has much harder non escape challenges tho. the prison is mostly external has really inconvinient detectors especially at night when purple doors are locked. there is a way around this but if a light or gaurd comes your way on that route then ur cornered. gaurds also follow u rly frequently on fort tundra for no reason and there is no locker in the cell buildings making it annoying and harder. area 17 also has inconvinient detectors. both prisons have few desks outside of cells and both prisons have very transperant cells. overall difficulty is harder on fort tundra but because the single player only escape on fort tundra doesent even need a key(it is exclusive to night unlike the im only human one on area 17) i deem the actual escape part hardest award to area 17 but because of the annoying gaurds on tundra while area 17 is fully internal the actuall hardest prison award goes to fort tundra. completing the prison blindly i wud say the escapes are even giving fort tundra and even higher difficulty on a blind attempt(no wiki and no past attempts)

i would say rattlesnake springs is the easiest you can literally chip one wall with an iron bar found in your desk and get out
i read that for like ever but i don't know if i agre i think fort tundra and area 17 have tied for the award of escaping blindly
