Perimeter Breakout is a flawed method

In Center Perks, I tried using the escape method where you cut the western wire to escape but EVEN though there are NO guards around the ENTIRE prison enters lockdown when I try to cut it. Is it time based? I did it after breakfast time.

Wait till night or the sniper's will see you. But even at night you aren't safe, they've got spotlights. But if you just stay out of those you shoulde be good!

But wait, how do I get out of my cell without attracting attention?

You could use a fake cell key, or slip into the vents. Or even chip out a wall. Make sure to cover your tracks with things like fake vent covers, or posters. Crafting a bed dummy will help prevent guards discovering that you're missing, and a disguise would be smart so you can walk past guards without notice.

It's also possible to just... not go to your cell at night. Show up to roll call, then quietly slip away. As long as you got a bed dummy, and are wearing a disguise, they wont realise you never went back to your cell.

What disguise will work? Do infirmary uniforms work?

Also the purple door that goes outside is one directional

Both infirmary uniforms and guard uniforms work to disguise you. Only difference is that the infirmary outfit lets you open the infirmary doors, and the guard outfit lets you open certain guard doors like the one leading into the contraband room.

1. Were you escaping during he day? That's your first problem you do at day the snipers will get ya.

2. If you were doing at night you shouldn't be watching out for spot lights. Get touched by those no matter what prison goes into lockdowns.

3. One of the guards found you or your stars were too high from previous damage.

Wait. Can you use purple doors both sides during lights out if you have a disguise on?

If I remember correctly no. You'll need a purple key to access those doors by night if your going in and out. That's why I recommend being outside before lights soo can pull off your escape.

That's what I'm saying. Put the bed dummy in before roll call. Check in and make sure you reach the area you want to be in.

Something to note is that you dont have to STAY at roll call, only show up. Once you've been present, you can leave and go do whatever.
