Is the Escapists 2 worth buying?

I loved the last escapists but after going through most of the levels the formula got boring. I saw a couple of trailers for this one, do the maps include more exciting and adventurous ways to escape?

Honestly, it's a great game. It might be viewed as a general improvement, but it's more. Time limit prisons, customizable characters, MULTIPLAYER, just a great game in general. Worth the $20.

It is not worth it currently. The game is infested with bugs and unplayable imo

Not worth it, unless you like mobile snipers that can go indoors and detect contraband AND are invincible, also known as the dogs.
Also, the playerbase is terrible in public servers, you'll most likely get autokicked.

Seems like it's more fun if you have friends to play with. I don't know anyone interested in this and playing with randoms probably sucks, so I'm passing on the game for now.

Ive seen the multiplayer in Liriks stream, are some of the bugs, like disappearing mats in ur stash solved?
I rly want to buy it for the MP, but if it is still too buggy i would wait.

I'd buy it for the center perks soundtrack. But seriously, why does center perks have such an awesome lights out, shower time and meal time? Honestly worth every penny and I've only done perimeter breakouts, as I'm not a fan of these scripted events. Go for it. As for being bored, multiplayer.

I know it's been, like 6 months but did you ever buy the game? if so, was it worth it? it's still the 20 bucks and I was wondering if it was worth it, cause the reviews aren't that helpful and very mixed. thanks!

For 100 hours playing this on Steam and owning it both on Nintendo Switch, I say it's worth it. If you can tolerate bugs and have friends to play with, it's worth it. Playing Multiplayer with random people I heard isn't quite... fun or possible to play due to players kicking other players for unknown reason, therefore it's better to experience it first and suggest it to friends when it become your liking! That's what I did and I had a great blast with my friends! (Pardon my English hehe)

I never bought the game! And I still don't think it's worth it. I ended up spending my money on the original Skyrim and Fallout NV. These games are really, really worth spending your money on. You can buy Fallout NV (with DLC) for $20. Hope you found this helpful!
