Difference between Key and Keycard

Hey i am just curious whats the differnece between key and keycard?
for example there is a red key and also a red keycard whats the difference?

Key doors have locks, keycard doors have keycard panels near them and show the area is multiplayer only, as someone needs to hold the door open using the keycard. If you're only doing single player, you can ignore the key cards altogether.

Also keys can only be used to open the specific door 10 times, whereas a cloned keycard has infinite durability...but it's only worth making for multiplayer escapes. Unless you plan on gifting it to someone or something for the approval.
