1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Escapists 2\TheEscapists2_Data\StreamingAssets\Audio\GeneratedSoundBanks\Windows
Here you can find all the .wem files of the music. Every file has an id, like "5501561.wem"
2. Look for a file named "SoundbanksInfo.json" You can open it with NotePad. Here you can see something like this:
"Id": "5715474",
"Language": "SFX",
"ShortName": "Music_Prison_01_Routine_F_Level_04.wav",
"Path": "SFX\\Music_Prison_01_Routine_F_Level_04_824B34CA.wem"
This means that the file with the id "5715474" is the music of the prison 01 of the routine F at 0 stars.
Here's the list of the prison and routines codes:
Prison 01 is center perks
02 is KAPOW
03 rattlesnake
04 uss anomaly
05 fort tundra
06 glorious regime
07 hmp offshore
08 area 17
Routine A is lights out
B is rollcall
C meal time
D exercise
E shower
F job time
G free time
Once you have found the files you want, you have to convert them into playable music files.
You want the center perks music? Here are the ids of the files (at 0 stars)
Lights Out: 804975538
RollCall: 784714028
Meal: 928669870
Exercise: 996873216
Shower: 606942186
Job Time: 578299716
Free Time: 308463688
Once you have found these files, just convert them and you will have your music!
Hope this helped
But you have already try convert all?
can you help me?
No, i just converted the music i wanted. I dont recommend converting all the .wem files (a lot of them are just useless sounds like ambience and instruments)
For me it worked just fine
