As for guards Learn to lock on and block. Lock on is beyond helpful because your charge attack will ALWAYS hit.
Yeah, this was the tactic I used for the most part and it was very effective. I also learned that the baseball bat has more effective range than I first realized. It was very handy when I tried baiting guards into coming at me. Plus whether intentional or not, no durability limit on it is damned good.
Still, seems like I had maybe at most two minutes before the medics were right ontop of the guard and carrying him off. I don't see how it's possible to sneak a takedown of a guard, steal his goodies, and make for the door under the guise of a guard, or instead, have the time to craft duplicate keys and then plant the originals back while still having enough time to make a clean get away. It seems much more safe and viable to just do stuff like take out walls, shovel holes, and sneak through vents.
It's hard to tell if I'm just missing something and need to L2P, or if the balance as it stands is just a bit off. Guess time will tell. I'm still having a blast with the game.
