Custom Songs aren't generated correctly
So I bought the game two days ago, especially for the custom song possibility. None of my Songs have been processed correctly so far. The music plays fine, but the processed maps are empty and there is nothing to hit. Im using common mp3 files and also tried to delete the files in the Appdata folder. any ideas?

Hi there, this is something we are investigating. If possible, can you please send us the output log that is created when you process a track and no cues are created. To gather this, please follow these steps:

-Locate the output_log.txt file found in the following folder (Make sure all folders and files in your PC are not hidden):

C:\Users\<your-username>\AppData\LocalLow\FITXR\BOXVR folder and called output_log.txt.

-Email us the log file to support@fitxr.com

I also started a chat on facebook, and received the same answer as here. I just sent out the E-mail with the log-file. Hope it helps in finding a solution.

In the meantime you can switch to the old 0.23... version when you change BoxVR to publicbeta. There you are able to process custom mp3 files.

I also just purchased the game primarily for its custom song feature. However, it is not working. The "Processing" sometimes takes forever and in case it does actually finish, the session will be totally empty with nothing to hit.

Switching to the public beta version does indeed make the custom song feature work for me but the beta version in general feels really unpolished in comparison (bad performance, no hit sounds, worse graphics).

For the price that this game is asking for (even with the current sale), the custom song feature is a function that should work flawlessly in my opinion. I will have to consider a refund if there's no fix announced soon.

Hang on a minute, this problem is known since a month and still there is no fix?
I tried about ten songs and non of them produced any targets...

I'm also still on the beta, but its really not polished. They really have to fix it!

I mailed my log files to this address along with a description of the issue about 2 weeks ago. But other than the automated confirmation message that they received my support request, I never heard back ...

It's very sad but it seems like this game has been abandoned by the developers.

EDIT: I've figured it out...

Official announcement solution isn't enough for me:
https://fitxr.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360007368840-My-custom-tracks-will-not-finish-processing?fbclid=IwAR1EgkFo3ZWOCwjy4gqk4prEJY0SJrLq0tFXp_YOCc4sEbASSrJh57whNdI

They sad you should change decimal symbol from , to .
That's OK, but "processing" is still neverending.
Then I've changed digit grouping symbol from [space] to ,

error_log.txt still contains information about error:
FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at System.Number.ParseSingle (System.String value, System.Globalization.NumberStyles options, System.Globalization.NumberFormatInfo numfmt) [0x00083] in <d7ac571ca2d04b2f981d0d886fa067cf>:0 at System.Single.Parse (System.String s, System.Globalization.NumberStyles style, System.Globalization.NumberFormatInfo info) [0x00000] in <d7ac571ca2d04b2f981d0d886fa067cf>:0 at System.Single.Parse (System.String s) [0x0000b] in <d7ac571ca2d04b2f981d0d886fa067cf>:0 at BeatList.CreateFromLines (System.String[] lines) [0x00030] in <fe35a91900704871b007d3b7ef50cae4>:0 at BeatStructureMadmom.OnBeatsTracked () [0x0000b] in <fe35a91900704871b007d3b7ef50cae4>:0 at MadmomProcess+<ProcessMadmom>d__12.MoveNext () [0x001db] in <fe35a91900704871b007d3b7ef50cae4>:0 at UnityEngine.SetupCoroutine.InvokeMoveNext (System.Collections.IEnumerator enumerator, System.IntPtr returnValueAddress) [0x00027] in <945c24c342914372bc599495ca1ade0d>:0

Then I've changed the very first format setting to English (US)
https://winaero.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/region-window.png
and now processing completes every time :cozybethesda:

You can revert this settings to your previous after importing songs you want.
It must be changed only due importing/converting/"processing" :cleanseal: process.
After it game should works fine with your native settings.

DEAR DEVS fix first pls, but it would be also great if you can select not only c: drive while looking for song to import.

Hi!
Can you explain exactly how you did it?
I don't understand. Where did youchange the "," and the [space] ?
SOTBMP Oct 16, 2019 @ 10:28am
Hello,

Decimal symbol can be set here (digit grouping symbol is also there):
https://www.techinpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/By-Changing-Decimal-Symbol-Settings.png

As you can read from my previous post, it doesn't help me.
I need to change entire format to English (US)
djeremaille Oct 17, 2019 @ 7:43pm
Thanks. I will try.

I had the same issue, what I did was the following to get it working:

1-Uninstall game from steam
2-Delete FITXR folder in C:\Users\AMLA1\AppData\LocalLow
3-Change PC language to English US (was previously in spanish)
4-In Control Panel /Clock and Region / Region: Changed the format to English US just in case, then on Additional settings: Put the DECIMAL SYMBOL as "." a dot.

I redownloaded the game, and the custom songs loaded and were finally working.

We really shouldn't have to do this stuff, it should work out of the box...
