Sweat dangerous to Vive / Vive Pro

Now that I have the insanely priced Vive Pro (for my flight sims) I wonder more than ever whether the HMD lenses suffer from sweat. I wear a thin piece of cloth around my eyes (3rd party item for the vive which protects the foam and by soaking up the lenses to a certain extend. However, sweat (and steam) will get onto the lenses and into the Vive anyway when using it for workout games. So, is sweat dangerous?

I use a vive n' chill on my regular vive, wondering if it will also work with vive pro. Vive Pro is likely also suceptible to sweat damage as vive and I suspect also not covered by warranty if ruined

Hi Bisch, thank you for writing to us. We have never had any issues with sweat and nobody has ever reporting issues with sweat to us! There are a number of preventative steps you can take however, including buying a sweat resistant pad, regularly cleaning your headset and also playing with regular breaks to clean the headset!

Hey bavi! Thanks for reply! Yea I will do that. Do you recommand any pads for the Pro? I still have replacements for my old Vive. Dunno if they fit. I didnt change as I also use those skin covers I mentioned.

OT: What are your plans for this game or do you even work on other workout titles? :)
