Oculus Touch: Weighted Glove Suggestions?
Hello, I would like to get some weighted gloves to use with this. I'm looking on amazon and I'm pretty skeptical that I'm going to be able to fit the oculus touch controller over a pair of weighted gloves.

Does anyone have an Oculus Touch and a pair of weighted gloves they can recommend? I'm not looking to add a lot of weight. Just want to simulate that I'm wearing boxing gloves

Thanks!

I got these last week: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01MRHMQGP/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The fit is a little tight for my medium-size male hands, but that's probably a good thing when swinging your fists around. I also expect the neoprene to stretch a bit with use. I wouldn't recommend them for large hands.

They don't technically get in the way of the touch controllers, but the loss of flexibility in your fingers from wearing the gloves (especially around your thumb) means that I have to hold the controllers differently. My thumb won't easily reach the top of the controller anymore, and i am forced to hold the controllers by the handle (but with my index fingers still on the triggers). That is probably going to work, but since I haven't used the game much following the last patch (can't stand the lack of colour coding on the targets), I haven't had a chance to test them much.

Thanks for the reply, I was actually just looking at these about 2 minutes ago... The seem to be the most low profile of all the other ones I see available.

Target has a pair of these. If they don't work I can just return them. I'll pick them up after work and let the community know if they are a go or no go.

I bought some wrist weights but my doctor, my PE teacher at the school where i work, and my friend who is a personal trainer all said not to use them with a game like this. They are meant to be used in slow stretches or to add another dimension to strength training. Using with BoxVR would do damage to the joints.

Thank you for your input and I appreciate your concern. However, I'm only trying to replicate boxing gloves which typically weight 12 , 14 or 16 ounces. Thats why want weighted gloves and not wrist weights, so the weight is where it's supposed to be. Plus, I dont use them for the fast training, only for the slower controlled punches where I can practice my form.

I'll heed your warning and if I experience any joint pain, i'll discontinue use.

I'll actually probably take some of the sand out to get it down to 13oz.
