Turnigy 9XR controller setup

Hi guys!

I'm trying to setup my Turnigy 9XR following the steps in this link:

But the menus in this steps seems to be a little different from the menus in my controller. For example: When it's says "Next, select [TYPE SELE] and change it to 'acro'" I didn't find where I could make this change. Can someone who has already follow this steps help me what should I do?


Others parts of the setup steps are also different, but I think I find the right places and made the correct changes. Even though, if you have a video which I can see this steps being done or something like that, it would be awesome.

Thanks for writing in! I'm sorry some of those are different on the help page, vs what you are seeing in the controller itself. Unfortunately that controller setup was created over 4 years ago, so there is a chance that some things as far as firmware, menus etc have changed.

Unfortunately I do not have that radio to be able to tell you exactly what steps you need to take. I'm sorry.

What I would suggest is jumping in our DRL Discord Server and join the #Controllers channel. We may have someone in the community with that radio that can help, or we may be able to work with you on figuring out how to set that up properly.

You did mention that you think you made the correct changes to set it up, is that the case? Is it setup and working properly with the switches as well? Or are you still having issues with the setup.

Essentially what the setup pages are instructing users to do, is enable the two switches in the controller. So as long as we can get those two switches of your choice, turned on, then we can calibrate in game to ensure those switches are used for Restart and Reset.

I don't know how or why, but now I got calibrate the controller. At first, the game wasn't recognizing the switches in the calibration, but today it just worked.
But good to know that the setup pages are to enable that two switches. I think the changes I made it was really correct.
