(Resolution dependent) Input lag
I currently have the problem that the game is only playable at 1280*720 unless I want my inputs to be terribly laggy (i. e. more than half a second after I move the sticks, the drone reacts). Same goes for menu items when I hover over them. Only in 720p is the hover highlighting of the menu items close to instant as are the inputs.

The curious thing is that when I go into calibration and "assign channels", there is no input lag in the bars corresponding to each channel, i. e. I see my inputs instantly.

My computer is quite old but not really too slow (I can play Liftoff in 4k just fine, 45-60 fps most of the time, GFX settings low):
- Phenom II X6 1090T 3.2Ghz, 16 GB
- Geforce 1060 6GB
- Win 8.1 (yeah, I never got around to upgrading yet)
- FlySky FS-i6 with PPM to USB-Adapter (works perfectly fine in other FPV Sims)
- Input set to "Steam: forced off"

I absolutely don´t mind low GFX settings as long as I can play at least 1080p or even 4k in 45 to 60fps.
The rendering in DRL actually gives me FPS in that range, even in 4k on my rig (low GFX mind you).
But somehow the inputs (menu rendering and control inputs) are laggy as soon as I raise the resolution above 720p which does not make much sense since the game itself renders in 60fps in 1080p+ resolutions.
As said, in the submenu to assign the channels, the inputs from my RC controller
update practically in real time (as they should) but not in the game itself.

Any ideas?

Some progress, restarted the game with the controller plugged in and on (as recommended), game runs smoothly in 4k, most of the time the inputs work fine but every 10-20 seconds or so the game reverts to the input lag variant mentioned before for a few seconds.

Hi there!

This is one I have NEVER heard of before in all the years doing support, love finding new ones to investigate! LOL

Can you do me a favor and send me a Help Ticket so we can work together to solve this for you?

Here is a link to send me a ticket directly, so we can see whats going on.

https://drlracingsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001151392-Submit-a-Help-Ticket

When you send the ticket, please include the player log file as well, If you can pull it while the game is active and the issue with the input lag is active, the log may show us some code relative to the issue.

Thanks so much! Talk soon!
