Hi there!
I'm not sure what DRM is, or if you meant to say DRL...
The only Radio that DJI allows to be used with other 3rd party software, is the DJI FPV radio.
So if you have that one, it will work without issue with the DRL sim.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!
TK
thanks for the answer anyway
I hope that DRL also support it as I ordered the DJI FPV drone and would love to use the controller with DRL !
Allowing to also use the VR headset would be fantastic !!!
I think there will be many new comers to FPV drones after buying the DJI searching for a good simulator like DRL !
I have gotten confirmation from a few DJI users that the DJI FPV controller as well as the newest DJI FPV drone controller work with the sim. Simple plug and play. Just need to calibrate in the sim. Some of the buttons on the controller are not allowed to be mapped from DJI as they lock them.
Hope this helps ya!
On both OS only the sticks are usable, no button is working... otherwise after calibration it work great !
Hi there!
Yes this is the case with the DJI FPV Controller.
Unfortunately DJI doesnt allow their hardware to work with 3rd party software, however they have allowed the DJI FPV radio to work.
Only the sticks are detectable, as it seems thats all they have allowed to be detected.
We have the same findings as you!
Thanks for sharing!
