I follow all the instructions to calibrate the controller and then when I get to set the 'reset' and 'unflip' actions I just skip those assignments because my USB dongle only have support to 4 channels. The problem is that this dongle seems to merge CH4 with CH5, so DRL recognize still the CH5 even when placing 'skip' in that part of the configuration setup, and when I move the yaw slightly to the left (4CH) it reset the race preventing us to play it. I can actually see in the overlay settings the lever going back and forth as I use the yaw.
As they already suggested months ago, this problem could be possible solved just by disabling the functionalities 'reset' and 'unflip' for those who pressed 'skip' at this part of the callibration setup, leaving this features to the command (ALT + R) in the keyboard, and those who have support for more than 4 channels could match using the levers in the transmitter with no issues.
I imagine that this could work beacuse I've been playing previous versions of DRL with no problems and I assume that it was because of this.
I don't know if this will work, but solving this problem will help a lot of people, including me. :)
DRL recognize my transmitter as PPM.
As it follows: I use the FlySky FS-i6x transmitter with the SM100 USB cable, can be found at: https://www.amazon.com/GoolRC-Helicopter-Airplane-Simulator-Controller/dp/B00DR4I4O0
Peace.
Thanks for sharing your feedback. This is an issue that is being worked on currently and should be resolved soon.
I get exactly the same problem. It shows up as unknown or vjoy controller. I've got the flysky fs-i6x
On the i6x go into SYSTEM SETTINGS, down to RX SETUP and select OUTPUT MODE, select PPM and i-BUS. Press cancel and go to TRAINER MODE, select ON and switch is set to SwB. STUDENT MODE is off. Make sure all your Aux switches are set to on. Go back to main screen and then select FUNCTIONS, AUX CHANNELS and set Channel 5 to Source SwA and Channel 6 to SwD.
After that is all done you can start up smartpropoplus and connect your transmitter to the pc via the 3.5mm microphone jack (MAJOR NOTE- IF YOUR PC ASKS THEN SET IT TO LINE IN, NOT MIC). It should automatically pick it up and it will show as vJoy Device 1. If you have a line in port on your sound card then just plug it in there.
OPEN UP DRL SIMULATOR, CONFIGURE YOUR TRANSMITTER AND ENJOY!!
