ps4 controller not working fix

my ps4 controller was coming up as a steam controller (as I had checked the ps4 configeration support within steam) and was not working. Turning this off then recognised the controller as a ps4 one and not a steam controller, and then subsequently working

Late reply, but yes I'm having the same issue with an xbox 360 wired controller. When I have my configuration turned on the game thinks it's a steam controller and doesn't read any input from it. Disabling controller configuration then properly registers the controller in-game as an xbox controller.

I also just used this fix for a wired Xbox One controller. Once I turned off the Steam configuration it works fine.

hi guys, i'm very late but i just downloaded the game. When i open it with my ps4 controller plugged in, it shows it in the bottom right as "playstation" but inputs don't work at all.

I just got the simulator and am having the same issues with my ps4 controller
