The Spektrum DXe isn't on our list of supported controllers:
https://drlracingsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/sections/115000302251-Controller-List-and-Setup
But I will try to help you with this. First, SPP can be very inconsistent with the sim. The team does not recommend using it. Can you please post a link for the cable you're using to connect to your computer? And what does the sim call your transmitter?
Thanks.
I tryed to play again today but now my controller calibration is all out of wack (yaw all the way to one side, can't fix it with trim). I suspect its SPP but I must say, it works flawlessly in Freerider. Maybe you guys can take over their project because it seems like its dormant now. They also have a very light system, nearly no load times. Just saying. I'll keep an eye out for this development and I really enjoy the leaderboards and training.
I will play today and see if I'm still having performance issues.
8 bit bitrate, left audio channel, PMM (standart) auto setting for signal decoder. Using the filter.dll but with NULL filters. I did not remap in SPP, but had to do calibration in DRL a coupe of times to get the correct stick possition. Drone flip and race restart buttons are still buggy because they want to map to switches as SPP is too eratic to use them reliable (random restarts mid race etc.)
All in all, this problem is solved. I'm still waiting on the intermidiate mode fix but thats more of a crutch. Thanks for the quick respose.
Thanks for keeping the community updated on your progress. It was very helpful to see your process. Now that you've gotten your transmitter calibrated I'm sure you want to get flying. I was wondering though, when you had a moment, if you could write up a step by step of what it took to get your transmitter calibrated from start to finish?
I would really appreciate it. Thank you again, for already going above and beyond. And happy flying!
