Game won't launch...

it either crashes on startup, or doesn't start at all. i can't tell.

the Ubisoft launcher starts up and appears to load the game like normal, but nothing else happens. the game just doesn't launch.

i closed the Ubisoft launcher in task manager and tried again, and it still didn't work. restarted Steam, restarted my computer, nothing. what's causing this? how do i fix this?

Reinstall Ubisoft Connect and run it before starting the game.

this does not fix it, as someone who is also having the issue. support has also stopped responding to me so I assume they have also given up trying to fix this

Have the same problem here seen like their game launcher is the problem, wherever when setting up it to offline mode it appears to solve this issue, they supposed to release an update that cuts this process technically it still is a Beta version.

If anyone is still having crashing issues with Rising on PC, here is a genuine fix. Put into your launch options this command:

cmd /c "set OPENSSL_ia32cap=:~0x20000000 && %command%"

The crash seems to be relegated to PCs with 10th and 11th gen Intel CPUs due to some issues with a faulty OpenSSL inside of the version of Unreal that Trials Rising uses
As someone who has been back and forth with UbiSupport for two whole months, I hope that this fix will save someone's day like it did for me.
