Red Lynx just announced their NEW GAME!!!! It's a mobile house decorator game.
Really.........
No, really.......
I don’t know how to open with this so let’s just speak roughly xD
Folk like the chap I quoted have this belief, and it’s no sleight by the way — whenever I’m passionate about stuff it happens to myself — that their opinion is shared by everyone else. Strong opinions plus no counter arguments on forums breed this homogenous attitude. It’s all so… safe?
Cuz yeah I love the game. I jumped through hoops when I realised I could finally play a Trials game when I got a second hand beat up old Xbox 360. Trials Gold was it? This was 2010. I’ve had all the main ones (including DLC) across many different consoles but the one to win my heart was Trials Rising on the Switch.
Technically the worst way to play it. But I persevered with its digital shoulder buttons when in handheld, using a GameCube controller granted analogue control worked fantastically but yeah.
I left gaming for ages, not because of this but this definitely kept me away: the growing attitude problems online. Opinions spoken as fact, insults for the slightest perceived damage to one’s ego…… blah blah I’d rather do something else now xD
It was cool as ♥♥♥♥ loading up my Steam account I’ve had since launch on this super cool Switch-like computer. Trials Gold runs. Ubisoft’s login screens are so bad. Im going to buy Rising now and hope it works as good as the demo does on the latest Steamdeck OS things.
*oh god the complexity of running things on my 1tb OLED Deck stuff makes using my 1tb OLED Switch feel like a bloody holiday. Looking at you Minecraft (bedrock edition. Since it’s incredible) :)
idc if its hard idc if it has no achievements idc if ubisoft is a weird publisher etc. the actual game is dope with tons of tracks and widepth with diamond medals and contracts. I also dont care about loot boxes or pay for accorns cause i had a great time finding the squirells and beat accorn contracts to have them for free as a reward. All the above is just excuses for lazy players. Also dlcs made the game even bigger and easier to climb the xp ladder. Im not a very good player but i love the challenge
