Strange cinesopic effect. How to disable?

During gameplay (I think it's free play, my son has been playing, so this might be a game mode and nothing out of the ordinary) there is a constant video effect overlayed on the game with vertical stripes and some distortion. Is there any way to disable this?

Its the red bricks. One of their abilities is a few filters And this is one of them. So he will need to disable it by holding Y and selecting the red brick then disable it

Thank you so much! It was indeed the ancient roll which enabled the old movie effect. I have searched throughout the menus and effect options! :D

I'm getting too old for this stuff ;)
