Always Crashing After Intro Scenes
I really need someone to help me with this, basically when I enter the game either regular or DX11, it usually crashes after it says "Featured Presentation". I've tried a ton of things to fix this, compatibility mode, changing nvidia control panel settings, running in a window, etc. But none of them seem to work.
I want to play this game but I fear I can't anymore. It worked for me a couple of days ago, but for some reason it stopped working correctly. Please note, no display drivers were updated within that time frame.

Specs:

Intel Core i5-6300HQ
NVIDIA GTX 960M 4GVRAM
Intel HD Graphics 530 (On board, not used for games)
16 GB Dual Channel DDR3
TOSHIBA THNSNK256GVN8 M.2 256GB SSD

I have the same problem - what is the solution?

FOUND THE SOLUTION:

The game does not like some Sound cards, and crashes.
Fix: install av-cable (a virtual soundcard, that can send the sound to another sound card)

How I found out:
Ninjago places a minidump file in appdata when it crashes. I opened it in Visual Studio and saw it was XAudio2_7.dll, and downloading symbol files from MS pointed at CX2SourceVoice::Initialize...
My laptop can play the game, but with a TV in hdmi, the audio is not sent there, but staying on the PC. I guessed it could be something to do with this, and was right..

Hope this message might help someone in the future with the same problem

How can I find the minidump file in question? Would you be willing to share the folder location or filename?

type %appdata% in to explorer.. And find the game there.. There should be dumps there when it crashes

Click the menu button when cutscene is about to start to try different settings like V-sync, change resolution and window mode. If you can't get into the options menu, when the game launches, press ALT + ENTER so it moves into windowed mode.

This worked for me.

game was realeased 2017..
by that time, there was no win11. the game specs only goes up to win10
.. check store page

so: win11 users will face lots of crashes
on win10 works perfect, not a single crash

FYI I am using win10 and it crashes often enough to be unplayable.
