The game does not like some Sound cards, and crashes.
Fix: install av-cable (a virtual soundcard, that can send the sound to another sound card)
How I found out:
Ninjago places a minidump file in appdata when it crashes. I opened it in Visual Studio and saw it was XAudio2_7.dll, and downloading symbol files from MS pointed at CX2SourceVoice::Initialize...
My laptop can play the game, but with a TV in hdmi, the audio is not sent there, but staying on the PC. I guessed it could be something to do with this, and was right..
Hope this message might help someone in the future with the same problem
How can I find the minidump file in question? Would you be willing to share the folder location or filename?
This worked for me.
by that time, there was no win11. the game specs only goes up to win10
.. check store page
so: win11 users will face lots of crashes
on win10 works perfect, not a single crash
i can tell you from what i have tested
on win11 i cannot even finish the tutorial
on win10 i played 2h without problems at all
