It's not expensive, every Lego games are being released at this price and this price goes down with time from 30€ to 20€.
An example is Lego Jurassic World which now cost 20€ and was released at 30€ and that's the case with all the new Lego games.

Ninjago exist since more than 6 years on TV and more with Lego Brick Build Sets.
3 Lego Ninjago games have already been released in 2011, 2014 and 2015 on hand-held consoles (DS, 3DS, PS Vita).

Anyway, hope that helped. :steamhappy:

PC Games are cheaper than the console games, so quit complaining. Also if you want to wait 6months they usually drop in price on a sale. 39.99 US is a decent price considering other options. Pre-ordered this and Marvel Superheroes 2.
it's $80 in CAD now that's expensive it's twice the price of the USD price

What I don't get, on Steam, it's 30,-€.
On the PS4 (PSN store), it's 60,-€.
What?!?

What makes the console version double the price? o.O
I mean, I can understand 10,-€ difference or so... but 30,-€?

I also don't understand that, the pc version is cheaper and better. The console version is more expensive and is 30fps locked. The pc version have uncapped fps. so anyone who buy it for console is dumb as ♥♥♥♥ lmao

Or don't have a good PC or only has a console.

In Brazil, it's ridiculously expensive. It's the same price as Middle-earth: Shadow of War.

And, as every LEGO game, it'll be full of bugs, maybe even unplayable.

Way to go, WB...

When did a Lego title ever launch for $60?
Ryunaker Sep 24, 2017 @ 8:59pm
All of the LEGO games have been launching for $60 on the PS4. Including this one.

I thought we were talking about Steam here. Don't most PS4 games release at $60 unless they're download-only? Have any Lego games launched on disc for PS4 for $40?
I'm pretty sure all of the new Lego games for PS4 and Xbox One will launch for $59.99, so the Steam versions are very cheap compared to them.

Why the price increase from last gen to this gen? Simply because the increase of production costs. You have an increase in the size of the worlds (Just look at Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 - comfirmed to be 7 times the open world area as the first game and 3x's the hieght for 10x's total size), new systems being impemented - Lego Ninjago implememted new physics and fighting system, new animations system as well.... all these things are not cheap.

Consoles are the top selling platform for Lego games so it makes much more sense to charge more for them than the pc version. The PC gamers get a break for once. I'll pick this one up soon :)

This still doesn't explain why it's the same price as the new Shadows of Mordor in my region.
