I think explaining atoms is simple, although you are right on figuring how to extract 235, all I know is centrifugues lol. But I could get them started with hydrogen, figure out lets say regular, deuterium and tritium and do whatever calculations you have to do to figure out 235.
This series is not that bad, but have some issues. Also mass battles graphics are the worst.
No visas!?
i believe the type of knowledge the average person knows about these things is a little less then the minimum to start the project, not to speed it up or finish it.
if you convince the right people they could probably work out the missing parts to start the project.
if you look at the time it took to develop an idea that only gets longer if you go back further in time as more and more of the technology used in its design and contruction needs to be invented too.
Drama Queen much?
you seem to be living under the illusoan all anime is written down to your level.
this isnt the case..
perhaps another Naruto or YuGiOh title would be more your speed?

Look I get where you're coming from, but... hmm. You may explain away gleeful battlefield stuff due to combat drugs and magic endused brain stimulation(yes, mages can essencially enduce magic cocaine on a whim). But she does enjoy her rank and power over others far more then you think she should.
She does possess two such qualities, which is some of the reason for "her" sharp rise. Firstly she wrote a paper, that was crucially influential in overhauling the Empires logistics framework. How? He worked as a bureaucrat in a large company. Its not as if this achievement was just deus lo vult
Secondly Tanya is at a minimum a sociopath. Her atheistic, materialistic outlook on the world is relatively new, and at the time the main holders of this belief would be bloody communists(oh btw, Communist Russia does exist), and thereby wouldn't approach career advancement with a materialistic mind set. This leads to her superiors and comrades believing her to be a War Hero/Daemon, lusting for more war(either for country or due to psychopathy), whereas she just wants to climb the ladder to a rear escalon position, and believes efficiency = promotion, therefore produce a mountain of enemy corpses.
This is a surprisingly deep story that explores some pretty heavy philosophy in a way that is accessable to people who would not normally think about such questions.
Is there really free will if there is a omnipotent god? Tanya is frequently confonted with situations where she is compelled to act in a certain way by a god like being.
What is good and what is evil? In some situations Tanya is good, in others she is evil, but for the most part she is looking for a easy path through life for selfish reasons.
What is it that makes you , you? Tanya was reincarnated as a young girl by the god like being in this anime and she assumes the identity of a young girl despite retaining the memories of a time when she was a businessman.
One.
She holds it and the world revolves around her.
