probably worst title this year
honestly, every time i read "low life die and become successful in another world becouse reasons" type novella, it feels like author was bullied at school or something.
but here we have a special case, where becoming successful is not nearly enough. Here we have god himself and say something like "Good sir, you are so special, i'mastonished"
Author is writing under pseudonym of "Carlo Zen" and there is nothing know of him exept his other work(which is about time traveler in pseudo-USSR where he become successful becouse reasons"
Since the series was hypes so much i really tried to liked, i even tried to read manga and novel.
Have to say, story would probably much better if it wasnt so fixated on main character.
like " little girl mages recruited becouse of the desperate situation on all fronts" instead of "a single little girl recruited before actual war even started becouse why not". And hat was MC basis for joining millitary, well aware Germany lost both world wars. I think it wouldn't be a problem for a time traveler (from another dimension?) to become rich and famous without actually risk his life, even the guy who invented tetra pak casing has become a millionaire.
Well, there is a chance MC is a sadist who just like to hurt people, he even endangered life of his own subbordinates on multiple occasions.
Even god forced to controdict his own words - first he tells how hard it to monitor 7 billion people and then it turns out there is multiple worlds( what makes overall population much bigger) and he constantly spying on MC like he dont have anything better to do.
and the plot armor ? there was so many times when one of the craracters has hit with a bullet and took no damage thanks to his magic shielding, while enemies with same magic shields drop like flies from a single bullet.
Visual quality of this show drops pretty hard after first five episodes, production was even forced to make a recap episode out of parts of six first episodes montaged together, at least they have the dignity to not sell it here (oh wait, they really sell recap at the price of a whole episode, good job)
I could probably talk about flaws of this show for whole day, but i had already forgotten half of what i was going to write so i will stop here.

i think you missed my point, if you went back and told them to bombard uranium-235 with neutrons they would ask you what a neutron is and how to separate uranium-235 from other forms of uranium, if you knew this they could start their version of the Manhattan project which took 6 years, for half of that the project was underfunded as the US was not at war so lets say 4 years minimum for a industrial powerhouse which hadn't been bombed and weakened by years of constant war.

if you could bring back or memorise and reproduce actural reserch papers or schematics then thats a different matter, you could forgo most of the development but for example if you teach them how to build a tiger tank without teaching them how to make rolled homogeneous armour then they would need to use cast steel which is weaker or develop the armour too.
each piece you leave out they need to develop.

if she could get the mad scientist to help she would be able to get ONE thing invented at a time, maybe after some success she would have more influence but if she tried to do too much they would think she was just a kid who liked science fiction too much.
which is a good example of the problem, we have had science fiction ideas about warp engines and teleporters for decades, some of it for over a century and while i won't deny they have influenced scientific progress we still don't have half the stuff that was predicted.

most of the tech people already knew about they just didn't know how to make it yet and thats what you need to teach them.
Yeah ww2 could happen in a season time instead of several yeats for all we know :P

I think explaining atoms is simple, although you are right on figuring how to extract 235, all I know is centrifugues lol. But I could get them started with hydrogen, figure out lets say regular, deuterium and tritium and do whatever calculations you have to do to figure out 235.

I don't like tonns of luck that Tanya have, srsly she only one time nearly killed and one time wounded in arm. And about her missions, all missions are pure succes. Author need to dunk her in ♥♥♥♥ more than this. I hope that she will be betrayed or executed like war criminal or both.

This series is not that bad, but have some issues. Also mass battles graphics are the worst.

for someone to start a project, like the manhattan project they need to have a decent understanding about it already, from then on the time and resourses used go to the fine details, not to come up with the basic idea.

i believe the type of knowledge the average person knows about these things is a little less then the minimum to start the project, not to speed it up or finish it.
if you convince the right people they could probably work out the missing parts to start the project.

if you look at the time it took to develop an idea that only gets longer if you go back further in time as more and more of the technology used in its design and contruction needs to be invented too.

Look I get where you're coming from, but... hmm. You may explain away gleeful battlefield stuff due to combat drugs and magic endused brain stimulation(yes, mages can essencially enduce magic cocaine on a whim). But she does enjoy her rank and power over others far more then you think she should.

In Tanyas world, Unless your an expert in the field Tanya wont be able to do anything revolutonary.
She does possess two such qualities, which is some of the reason for "her" sharp rise. Firstly she wrote a paper, that was crucially influential in overhauling the Empires logistics framework. How? He worked as a bureaucrat in a large company. Its not as if this achievement was just deus lo vult
Secondly Tanya is at a minimum a sociopath. Her atheistic, materialistic outlook on the world is relatively new, and at the time the main holders of this belief would be bloody communists(oh btw, Communist Russia does exist), and thereby wouldn't approach career advancement with a materialistic mind set. This leads to her superiors and comrades believing her to be a War Hero/Daemon, lusting for more war(either for country or due to psychopathy), whereas she just wants to climb the ladder to a rear escalon position, and believes efficiency = promotion, therefore produce a mountain of enemy corpses.

[WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD, STOP READING NOW IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE SERIES AND YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE SPOILERS.]

This is a surprisingly deep story that explores some pretty heavy philosophy in a way that is accessable to people who would not normally think about such questions.

Is there really free will if there is a omnipotent god? Tanya is frequently confonted with situations where she is compelled to act in a certain way by a god like being.

What is good and what is evil? In some situations Tanya is good, in others she is evil, but for the most part she is looking for a easy path through life for selfish reasons.

What is it that makes you , you? Tanya was reincarnated as a young girl by the god like being in this anime and she assumes the identity of a young girl despite retaining the memories of a time when she was a businessman.

How many Tanya Degrechafs does it take to screw in a lightbulb ?
One.
She holds it and the world revolves around her.
