You broke it.

We're doing our best to fix it as soon as possible and we're glad for your support. We have found the most likely culprit to what's causing the really high server load, and we are working around that right now as well as making it mandatory to select server when starting the client for the first time, and moving to a dedicated hardware machine in NA (away from a virtual machine).

A bigger, better, stronger, faster dedicated actual hardware toaster machine in NA. I LIKE IT!

I also want to know which one of you thought a virtual machine was a good idea so I know who to come after with my Pitchfork...lol

Generally speaking, virtual machines are good (especially C5 machines at AWS), but due to some optimization issues it couldn't handle it (neither can the physical machine right now, but we're getting closer and closer to a solution).

Just saw this

Servers are up and running (and are running okay from the feedback we've been getting), but with population caps right now. We are working on fixing this issue so we do not need so low population caps, but for now we allow 100 users per server.

If the server is full you will get an error message stating "We are currently doing maintenance, please try again soon" (the message is unfortunate, but this is as we said a temporary fix and thus the error message is not fully accurate). You can then just try again at another time as a player may have disconnected.

Again, sorry for these issues, Austin and I are working to fix them as soon as possible.

You do know what's going to happen right Devs? People just won't log off. Seen it too many times.

Forcedchaos: i hope that won't be the case, we also do have an away from keyboard feature that will log people off if they don't actively play the game. In any case, this is a temporary solution, we're continuing to work on finding a long term solution.

Thank you for the replies I hope it gets fixed soon. Really looking forward to trying out your game!
