keeps crashing

I just got the game, it simply doesn't start at all =( never happened before. please help.

Did it doesn't start at all? Not even the play/config screen?
Please try the normal: restart steam, uninstall and install the game, make sure to have only the game open, update your drivers, run as adm...
Let me know if any of those work, and if you could provide more info like: which is the last screen you see? Is there any bug, or it simply not open?
Any little bit info can help!

hey =) thanks for your reply, I did all the stuff you mentioned. Happy to do it again one more time to make sure. the game doesn't start at all. just crashes. I will reinstall the game and try one last time.

Installed it again and ran as administrator and did all the things suggested...Still doesn't even start at all.

I am having the same issue: Game crashes on startup, the play/config never shows up. I hit 'play' and all I get is a crash report popup.

Hey Edge, I solved this issue, by going to my graphics driver and adjusting the scaling and resolution options. I was desperate and found this solution on some forums because it wasn't just this game but somehow all unity made games weren't working, when I applied this fix it worked like a charm.

I have already refunded the game I'm sorry to say. I'll probably re-buy the game, but not in the near future. I'm hopeful for the devs to research the issue and fix it if they still care about their game so that we don't have to find workarounds like that.

edge, like I said the issue isn't with the game itself, but with the unity game engine and how it interacts with some pcs and laptops. Sorry you couldn't find the solution. I am glad I waited and didnt get a refund and had a blast with the game.

I used your advice with the resolution thing when another Unity game was crashing on me and it worked! I lowered my monitor resolution and strangely it worked, it worked still when I switched back to my original resolution, that's just bizarre and weird, man! I didn't have this issue before and I don't know why it's happening now, but the resolution swapping fixed it and I can assume it'll work with this game, I'll re-buy the game and see if I can fiddle with it the same way.

Also I take back what I said about the devs not caring or fixing the game, it's just Unity being tempermental.

Even Flat Justice is cooperative after resolution swapping. Played the first girl, I like this game! Not just the...*clears throat*, but it really preys on your attention and bullet awareness! The game is solid, simple and not for kiddies in the slightest! Thumbs up!
