pretty much as title seys anyone have the original files saved? not the BS crap they have now honestly i want a refuned if no ne has and honestly this isnt the game i paid for

don't tell anyone, but you can install old version of steam games in secret way

1. open this link, or if it didn't work, type in Run:
steam://nav/console

2. then type this in console
download_depot 639780 639781 6192715577291834533

download_depot <appid> <depotid> <target manifestid>

go ask steamdb for the IDs

if your code is right then the console will tell you it's downloading

3. wait until the console said the download is complete, and it will tell you the file location

4. open the location, copy the content
4a. if you have DSW:FJ installed in your pc, you need to replace it with this old version (you can back up the new version first, the save file is in data folder), otherwise you won't be able to run it (the old version)
4b. if you didn't have DSW:FJ installed, just put the folder in ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ and rename the folder to, "Deep Space Waifu Flat Justice". You might need to restart Steam if it's not appeared in your library right away.

5. Run the game, enjoy the washboards

in your case, you probably should go for option 4a, you need to replace the "official" version of the files with the console downloaded ones,
or just rename the "Deep Space Waifu Flat Justice" to "Deep Space Waifu Flat Justice.backup", and move the "depot_639781" folder to the same folder as the DSW:FJ installation folder and then rename it to "Deep Space Waifu Flat Justice".

I don't think it will. Well, at least we won't do it.
We had our things to why we had to change it, but never said you couldn't download an older version.
There's other ways too, but they all are around stopping steam update and forcing an old build.
You can find some other posts here or on the game1(?) about the same method

not sure if it was this update or not but the game the art was changed on 6? of the girls. 2 of which is well honestly there faces ae horriable.....

I wish someone could help the devs fight back and bring back the game most of us purchased. This situation is unfair to those who bought the game a year ago. In fact I know from reliable sources that this kind of abuse toward devs is aimed exclusively at anime styled games and has NOTHING to do with combatting illegal content. Especially since Valve is a US based firm and the first amendment protects it.

picked this up ages ago and finally got around to play it...
I tried to do what is mentioned here and it's not working. The original files got replaced with the 'fixed' version. pseudo feminist hypocrytical policy bs
yeah... I'm going to give this the old skidrow makeover now, if you catch my drift

I just tried it and I got the old build, did you copy the contencts from steam/steamapps/content/app_639780 to steam/steamapps/common/Deep Space Waifu Justice?

you better backup the "Deep Space Waifu Justice", you can rename it or just move it somewhere. then rename your "app_639780" folder to "Deep Space Waifu Justice" and move it to "steam/steamapps/common/", in other word you completely replace the "official-and-updated-folder" with the old one.

don't forget to disable auto update and steam cloud first, then you can run from steam client or just double click the application, once you replace the folder with the old one
