why is the the Soviet Union instead of red china in the campaign?
maybe red china haven't good equipments???

Because the early phases (1950-early 1952) were the main phases of the war. From mid-1952 (expect from the Air War, which was always very hot) it was progressively becoming a stalemate

Well actually it was Stalin who supplied most of the hardware for teh first few years, he didnt want to have a conflict but the north did it anyway, the UN forces after being pushed back to almost the ocean, then marched almost all the way to the great Yella river, china border, which woke a sleeping giant, the chinese sent hundreds of thousands of troops, pushed us back to the 38 and it went back and forth for a few years, very messy, demoralizing war, its such a shame we didnt draw that treaty line 700klm north of where it is now, the North would not likely be a threat ever again, but as it is now, I fully expect another Korean war at some point in the future.
Sooner or later, democracies are going to have to sort that mess out, Kim idiot is the only guy on the planet capable of walking into a room and pressing a button to launch a nuke, insane, even the Russians and Chinese have safety measures, North Kora, big big problem in the future.

Should make for a good new game, but only if we win !
