IL-2 CloD wont' launch

Hi all, I have just re installed CloD but it won't run, I press play, a box comes up saying it's launching but nothing happens.
any help please.

Hi,

If it is a fresh install there is a few things you should try out.

1. Verify the integrity of the files via Steam (right click on game in Steam Menu, Properties, select local files and "verify integrity of files" ).

2. Restart your PC.

3. Check that the game isn't being blocked by Anti-Virus software.

I give up, This game and every other one in the series have never launched, never worked. I have 8 minutes of play time since I bought it, every second of which was it acting like something was getting ready to happen, but it returned back to my library screen. It's done it across every operating system since Win 7 and three different computers. It passes local file check, anti virus/firewall off, overlay off, Afterburner off, uninstall/reinstall. Every single thing I could find anywhere to try, I did. I just put in an RTX 3070Ti and tried again- same thing. Then I tried to join their technical support site with the Steam Login option- it says their products are not in my account.

I'd been trying to get this buggy game working again for months if not years, tried all the patches and clean re-installs, everything.

Then i enabled logging, and saw it was whinging about some image file being an unexpected size or quality. Long story short, go to your Colour management in windows and under the advanced tab set your device profile to 'system default' (The top box in this pic)

Now my game works fine and I am ****ing flabbergasted that this was somehow the cause of the issue, give it a try if nothing else seems to work.

Go to Game properties then Betas and choose TeamFusion mod then it should work.

At least it did for me
