IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover

IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover

Joystick configuration explanations?
Does anyone have a description of all the joystick mappings that are available in sim? It's much more daunting than what used to be in IL2 1946. Not quite sure how to map it all out. thanks!

My main problem with IL2 is that I can't get the plane to be stable, it wobbles it all over the place. Not a lot of axis tuning options, unlike DCS for example. Any tips?

I found this to be of some use. I managed to configure rudder and ailerons okay.

I'm trying to configure my thrustmaster for this game now but whenever I move or press any part of my joystick it doesn't register it in the control menu.

No, it detected it no problem. Does it work okay in the Windows controller setup?

I'm not familiar with the Windows controller setup but I have used this particular flightstick on other games.

Not sure what Wndows you have but for Win 8 open Control Panel then Hardware and Sound and click on your controller. You can test through that. I think most versions of Windows have access to controllers through Control Panel.
