In this saga only the first two games have tutorials.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/289300/Faces_of_War/
Faces of War contains the most complete tutorial, however the campaign is not easy.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/7830/Men_of_War/
The first Men of War contains a tutorial in the first mission of the Soviet Campaign, and the campaign is not as diffcult as in other games. This is the best introduction to the saga.
So, if I buy the first Men of War I'll learn enough to get my Vietnam fix? I'm going in blind, man. Never played the series before. Just wanted a Nam game. (although MofW 2 looks like it's worth a buy!)
Which do you recommend as someone totally new to the series and the whole UI, etc, etc. ?
For someone new to the saga, Men of War 1 is the best point of entry.
Men of War Vietnam is the most difficult game in the saga, even for people who have prior experience in MoW, I had to use a guide to complete the game and a lot of slow motion.
Men of War Assault Squad 2 is an outlier in the saga, MoWAS2 is focused in multiplayer and modding, the other games in the saga are focused in Single Player.
