Talking Door: Scarlet Island

So I did find the parrot on Rusty Anchor and did some dialog with it. Went back to the Talking door and had a two choices, both were 'Wrong Answer'. Went back to the parrot for more dialog, went thru it all it seems. Back to the Door and now no choices. Repeated again and still now choices :(

So did I mess up any chance to get into this door? Seems odd, that it would be that simple to screw it up or am I missing something.

There's a specific conversation path with the parrot that will get him to tell you the password. You can go back to it and keep trying different responses, and eventually he'll tell you what the password it (I think it's cuttlefish.)

ok, I've tried like 5 times. But I will try again and listen for "cuttlefish". So it's the parrots last response that matters?
