And, by their perspective, the Kiwami games ARE the rereleases of the original games and I think they want players playing those.

Again, you're just not quite grasping this "it's not going to make money" thing. It's the opposite of productive.
I already said I wouldn't buy it. I have Kiwami 1&2 waiting to be played. Why play a more archaic version? Maybe if I had played them before and wanted to experience the nostalgia I would be more interested but that's not the case.
And if I REALLY wanted to replay them that bad, I would have just gotten an emulator and played them that way. Shaking my fists at the sky and hoping for a re-release wouldn't solve anything. Want to play them? Get Google searching.
