I will try and free you though.
Those are your own rules, you live by this code. And it just so happens that the game allows you to go on with the main story and return to cabaret club later. Since this is what the game allows you to do you must now follow your code.
Also if I remember correctly you get stuff for your girls and for your club (different furniture) during your playthrough of the story.
As others already said, you are making it boring for yourself. You are not playing it as intended, which can be a good thing as long as you enjoy it that way, but you are obviously not.
Honestly, cabaret club in Yakuza 0 (and kiwami 2) is probably the best minigame of the series and gives you a good amount of money too.
It's well done and it's kinda easy if we wanna be real, you just gotta watch the screen and press the buttons they tell you to press.
I just finished playing the remastered trilogy on ps4 and let me tell you that they made a miracle here, the cabaret minigame used to be actually embarrassing: no stats displayed on clothes/accessories, you had to do things randomly hoping it would work, only one girl to manage and you spend half of the time walking in circles around the room to hear customers' thoughts (mostly shallow ♥♥♥♥) about the girls.
I'm glad it came to what we have in Yakuza 0, it's a great evolution and I had a lot of fun completing it.
This game requires a lot of time to 100% (I have a few things left to do myself after 100+ hours) and most of the secondary things are supposed to be done in premium mode, you just need to come to terms with this, take a deep breath and enjoy this masterpiece.
I can't imagine you have much fun playing games like this.
Just play the game for the story with a few sidequests here and there for fun like most people, then if you still want more you can go for 100 percent in premium adventure.
Right. After every 5 minutes you have to go back to the same place. How much fun. Instead of doing cards, side quests, challenges and then playing a business game you just artificially increase your playtime by running there and back 50+ times not being able to focus on one activity at the time.
You are not forced. If you want, you can play the same way as Kiryu's game. After every round go to town and run around doing things. Majima's game is better as it gives you more freedom on how you play it. If you want you can play it nonstop, if you want you can play it with pauses doing something else between approaches. Kiryu's game does not give you such choice.
You are ranting about imaginary issue. You created a problem for yourself and then complaining about it. More freedom is not a bad thing unless you can't control yourself.
