help with nintendo switch controller?

I hear the game is better on controller. Unfortunately, the only controller I have is a nintendo switch pro controller. I connected it, and it seems to work, except when I open the game it randomly inputs. It would spam A, the camera, and it would constantly shuffle Kiryu around. I unplugged it, and my mouse started bugging out, too. There's been no other problems with either of those two pieces of hardware. If I could have some help with this that would be nice.
