You SHOULD learn Mahjong!

I only missed the 6 CP from Mahjong to achieve the Perfectionist trophy, so I managed to learn how to play Mahjong.

And after all, that was a real pleasure when you know what you're doing, it's pretty addictive and probably one of the best minigames!

Don't miss your 100% completion just for it. Take the time to watch some tutorials on Youtube (in 20-30 minutes, you'll have all the keys).

Now, I just need to complete the Legend difficulty for the real 100%!

Mahjong is super fun the thing with it is its actually really super easy just has lots of small nuances that kind of cause the confusion for people, Honestly i spend a good chunk of these games just playing mahjong for fun even after the completion points.
Also anything is better than Koi Koi RNG

I had fun with Koi-Koi but it's not the type of minigame you want to play after completion. Now I can understand why Mahjong is so popular, it's easy to play but can be very deep when you start to focus on other hands and guessing what they are playing.

Agreed for completionists, it took me 6 hours straight to get a full straight, really really time consuming

I very much agree with this. I printed out a page that told me what numbers the symbols stand for and really found it enjoyable to play and get better at this game. I kinda-knew American mahjong and the version in this game is very different with a bigger focus on 1-2-3 runs. It took me a few half-hour sessions to get all the CP goals but I found it pretty fun, especially given how many times you'll be close to getting it only for another player to claim mahjong and ruin it...there's a lot of drama.

Wouldn't say it took six hours though...maybe 2. I found Baseball so much more frustrating.

Mahjong is fun as hell. Koi Koi too. I actually got a phone app of both to play whenever.

The one I don't like is freaking Oicho-Kabu.

I find Koi Koi is the most enjoyable out of the traditional gambling minigame. at least there still thinking involved. cho han on the other hand.. it's pure RNG

Money grows on trees in 0. To be specific, the tree known as real estate and Mr. Shakedown.

Eventually, you won't care about winning or losing money. You'll be walking around with enough cash in your pocket to just buy the Empty Lot yourself and not even notice.

It's not "gambling." Mahjong is basically a card game.

You mean you weren't good at the game right from the start so you quit it. We got a real challenge-runner here, folks.

Using anything but Mr Shakedown is a massive waste of time, especially with Kiryu's Shakedown multiplier.

I always wondered that. I had enough money to buy out all the Yakuza gangs by the end.
