I would recommend you to start a premium adventure using your clear data, which is basically a post-game free roam. You can finish any substories you've missed, continue progress on your Businesses, Dragon & Tiger, Coliseum.

Yes, but that's because there were actual remakes made in Kiwami 1&2 while Yakuza 3/4/5 are just re-releases. It's not exactly a startling revelation that these games would feel more outdated than the ones that got a full remake.
But, what's it matter? I just finished Yakuza 0 and it was my first Yakuza game so I'll naturally play Kiwami 1&2 next before I even consider the games after that. Plus I managed to get all three in a bundle for $10 on the PS Store.
